Lighten up!

I’m reading “Life is a Joke” (by the Javna brothers) along with a sister and a sister-in-law.  Because of our schedules and distance, we exchange comments each week via email.  What a wonderful way to read a book — a tiny book club.  The book reminds us to laugh with a joke at the beginning of each small chapter, then see what the brothers have to say about the life lesson from that joke.

As I see the stack of read-me-next books on my bookcase, I am grateful for the many ways I acquire books:  local bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, library, gifts/loans from friends, and church library.  I love books.  And it lifts my heart to see my recently published book, Surviving the Pink Ribbon, at a few local stores — and now on the local author table at two nearby B&N stores!
